1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HidayaLife platform and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

HidayaLife connects a Muslim with their mosque. It enables mosques to manage courses, modules, resources and live lessons, and enables Imams and Muṣallīs to teach and learn. Accounts are provided for Muṣallīs, Imams, mosque administrators and system administrators.

3. Accounts and Registration

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
• Email verification is required to activate and use an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Accounts are personal; you must not share or transfer your account to others.

4. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree that you will not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose.
• Upload or share content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Disrupt or interfere with the security or operation of the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or any unsolicited communications.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

The platform, its design, and its original content are the property of HidayaLife and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Course materials and resources uploaded by mosques and Imams remain the property of their respective owners, who are responsible for ensuring they have the right to share them.

6. Communications

By registering, you agree to receive transactional emails necessary to operate your account — including email verification, onboarding, password reset and important service notifications. We do not send unsolicited marketing email.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request closure of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used unlawfully.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
