HidayaLife ("we", "us", "our") operates an online platform that connects a Muslim with their mosque, serving Muṣallīs, Muṣalliyahs, Imams, mosques, and administrators. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over your information. It applies to our website at hidayalife.com and our related application and services.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to provide our service:

• Account details — name, title, email address and the role you hold (Muṣallī, Imam, mosque Admin or administrator).
• Contact details — phone number and mosque/organisation name where you choose to provide them.
• Learning data — courses, modules, activities, resources and your progress within them.
• Account security data — hashed passwords, email-verification codes and password-setup tokens.
• Technical data — limited log data (such as timestamps and error logs) used to operate and secure the service.

We do not purchase mailing lists, and we do not collect information from people who have not registered for, or been enrolled in, our platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and verify your email address.
• Deliver courses, modules, resources and live lessons.
• Send transactional emails that are required to operate your account (see below).
• Maintain the security, integrity and availability of the platform.

Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and access to systems is restricted to authorised personnel. We retain personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the platform (such as cloud hosting and email delivery), and only to the extent necessary, or where required by law. Mosque administrators and Imams can see the account and learning data of Muṣallīs within their own mosque for legitimate educational purposes.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Withdraw consent or object to certain processing.

Where the platform is used by younger learners, accounts are created and managed under the supervision of their mosque and guardians. Mosques are responsible for obtaining any consent required for members in their care.
